Inspection checklist when buying the used truck

Have you ever bought a car? Car is an expensive investment but still, people have it. But buying a truck is not that easy. You have to pay four to five times the price of the car. But it is impossible for everyone because it is not a piece of cake. Does it mean that you can not have a truck? Whenever you have to purchase a truck, you have only two options I.e., new truck or the used one. Selection of the truck depends on your budget. If you have enough money then you should definitely go for the new truck but if you are short of budget and you can’t purchase the newer one then you should definitely go for the old one. Actually, it is a good idea to consider buying the old truck but you have to do a lot of efforts prior to purchasing it.

  1. Start with planning the budget. As it is an expensive investment, so you can not deviate from the budget because it will affect you in the future. Anyway, it is good to start with having a budget in the pocket. After this, you should have an inspection list in your pocket.
  2. Having an inspection list is important because, without proper inspection, you can’t buy the best piece from the market. Always start with inspecting the seller. The seller will give you an idea about the truck. Go and talk to the seller. As a whole, you should spend at least 1 hour with the seller. In the meantime, you can read the confidence of the seller about the truck.
  3. Now, you should inspect the truck. Always check the truck in the day time as well as in the night time. It is good to see in both the phases because the circumstances are different in both cases.
  4. Now, start checking the engine. Having good conditioned engines is not an easy task. If you are getting the good engine, you are lucky enough. Check for the crankshaft and thugs or knocks. If a second-hand trucks [รถ บรรทุก มือ สอง, which are the term in Thai]  have both the things perfect then you are having the right one.
